HELLO
I’m a London-based freelance writer and commissioning editor specialising in travel and lifestyle. From 2009 to 2019, I worked in house at The Sunday Times, followed by shifts at Cosmopolitan, Stylist and the Daily Mail. I have also written for The Times, Guardian, Telegraph, Spectator, Women's Health, Sunday Times Travel Magazine, Wanderlust and BA High Life across a broad range of topics. I have appeared on Sky, 5 News and BBC Radio 5 Live.
I’ve interviewed a number of celebrities over the years, including Westlife, Colin Farrell, Dame Kelly Holmes, Jeremy Corbyn, Nicola Sturgeon, Jess Phillips, Victoria Hislop, Celia Imrie and, the nation’s favourite, Joe Wicks.
I also write and speak about fertility, advocating for a change in the negative discourse surrounding it. I currently have 27 eggs on ice.
I grew up in the travel industry, my father long-serving cabin crew for British Airways. Holidays on staff travel instilled a love of exploration and adventure that has fuelled my career. After five years also flying for British Airways, I retired my wings in 2009 for a different version of the high life, as a travel writer. My career has broadened beyond travel but it always remains at the heart of what I do. If I’m not riding a horse in the shadow of the Andes in Argentina, scaling a frozen waterfall with ice picks in the Dolomites, having kittens on a red run in the Alps or watching a train depart a station with my car but not me on it in Australia, you’ll probably find me planning my next adventure. After all, what else is life for?
